Circulation cryostats

Circulating thermoconstats for working temperatures from -50 °C to +200 °C

General features

JULABO circulation thermostats for heating and refrigeration.

These devices are suitable for thermostatting operations in external circuits or directly inside the tank. Models with different power classes are available. The devices offer high heating and cooling performance with short heating and cooling times. With "Active Cooling Control," the cooling capacity is active even at +200 °C. "FP" models are equipped with proportional refrigeration control, thus saving energy and reducing heat dissipation. Easy removal of dust from the condenser thanks to the easily removable ventilation grille. Depending on the model, with handle or wheels for easy transport. All models have a front tap to simplify emptying the tank fluid. Typical applications are temperature control of devices such as photometers, refractometers, viscometers, etc. In parallel, it is possible to control the temperature of small objects directly inside the tank.

Immersion thermostats

General features

With fixing bracket for different size tanks with volume up to 50 liters.

JULABO immersion thermostats can be used for temperature control application of any tank of volume up to 50 liters. Immersion thermostats are equipped with a clamp for walls up to 26 mm. Alternatively, they can be attached to a laboratory stand. The clamps allow quick and easy mounting on available tanks. Immersion components are made of high quality stainless steel or plastic. In contrast to conventional thermostats, the bath liquid can be used over a wider temperature range and be stored much longer.

PRESTO temperature control systems

Features

For working temperatures from -92 °C to +250 °C.

A completely revamped generation of JULABO ultra dynamic temperature systems. Whether for temperature control application on reactors, material stress testing, or temperature simulation, the new PRESTOs are designed to regulate temperature with maximum precision and to ensure extremely rapid temperature changes. With high heating and cooling capabilities, they cover a working temperature range of -92 °C to +250 °C.

With the use of high-efficiency components, they can compensate for endothermic or exothermic reactions very quickly. Permanent internal monitoring and self-lubricating pump maximize service life. A special feature of the new PRESTOs is the integrated 5.7" color touch-screen panel. This ensures a clear and comprehensive display of all important information and greatly increases ease of use. Extremely quiet, when in use the new PRESTOs are barely audible to the ear. The new PRESTOs are extremely robust and work reliably even when the ambient temperature reaches +40°C. Automotive and aerospace applications

For research and development in the automotive, aerospace, and food industries, the ability to control the temperature of fluids quickly and accurately is a necessary condition for performing tests that reflect real environmental conditions. "PRESTO" systems are designed precisely for testing components and materials with dynamically controlled temperature fluids.

These systems are characterized by extremely short heating and cooling times and allow very high temperature ranges without changing the fluid.

Countless solutions are possible for all kinds of applications that need testing with temperature-controlled fluids. The presto "PRESTO" systems can work directly with fluids:

Application examples

Highly dynamic fluid temperature control systems can be applied in numerous research and development applications.

Testing of pumps

Hydraulic pumps are increasingly important components in the automotive industry. The fluids flowing through them can be temperature controlled by "PRESTO" systems. Control can be done directly on the fluid if the system uses water or glycol or a mixture of them.

Temperature range: -30°C + 90°C Alternatively, a heat exchanger can be passed through to control the fluid.

Temperature range: -40°C + 150°C.

AIR temperature control

"PRESTO" systems can also dynamically control air temperature through forced flow. In this way, special environmental conditions can be simulated.

Temperature range: -40°C +160°C.

Test benches for electrical components

For quality control of automotive electrical components, it is increasingly necessary to be able to simulate environmental conditions at different temperatures of the cooling circuit.

Different temperatures in the fluid can be simulated through these systems. Temperature range -35°C + 90°C.

Airbag Testing

The development of vehicle airbags requires testing at different temperatures. In these cases, PRESTO A85 systems are used to condition by Thermal HL80 gas the explosives prior to blast testing.

Temperature range: -70°C + 20°C.

Testing of car batteries

PRESTO A40 and A85 systems operate with Termal HL80 fluid and can control battery block temperatures for energy module optimization.

These systems are being exploited in research and development of electric cars and in durability testing of ordinary car batteries.

Testing of Wireless Car Charging Systems

Following the development of wireless charging systems for electric cars, a series of tests have become necessary. "PRESTO" systems can simulate the cooling circuit of the charging system through direct control of water/glycol.

DC/DC Converters / Inverters

DC/DC Converters are becoming increasingly important components in vehicle construction and must be tested under realistic conditions. "PRESTO" systems can simulate the cooling circuit through direct control of water/glycol temperature.

Temperature range: -35°C + 95°C.

Development of electric motors

Electric motors are now a critical component in the aerospace industry. New motors must always be tested at different temperatures. PRESTO systems can provide a forced cooling circuit with flows from 9 to 26 liters per minute.

Testing of satellite components

Testing of materials for satellites must be done in environments that simulate the temperatures that can occur in space. "PRESTO" systems can simulate these high temperature ranges in vacuum chambers.

Injector test benches

For certain tests, components must be pre-conditioned to a set temperature. To simulate a cold start in diesel or gasoline engines, fuel must be injected at a controlled temperature. "PRESTO" systems can, via a heat exchanger, control the temperature of the injected fuel.

Cooling recirculators

Eco-friendly refrigeration and saving of mains water.

Cooling recirculators allow cooling a liquid through them that circulates within an external circuit. These devices have short cooling times and maximum effectiveness thus representing an economical alternative to refrigeration with mains water. The compact design allows space optimization. Models with the "W" designation are water-cooled and feature low noise and low heat emission. Alarm and safety functions enable continuous and reliable operation. Filling and emptying operations are quick and easy with an easy-access filling hole and faucet.

AWC100 recirculators

Compact models for simple refrigeration needs.

The AWC100 air-to-water cooling recirculator is an extremely compact solution for small heat dissipation tasks in external systems, such as those generated by Peltier cells.

In addition to its extremely attractive price, the AWC100 impresses with its compact size and is used where the cooling water temperature is located above room temperature and when temperature stability does not play an important role.

FL series cooling recirculators

Cooling recirculators for economical and environmentally friendly refrigeration. The FL line presents a new generation of cooling recirculators for a wide range of applications in refrigeration, laboratory and industry. The temperature stability of the PID control is ±0.5 °C. The devices have an easy-to-clean splash-proof keypad with LED temperature display, and there is also an RS232 interface and alarm output on the front. The filling hole is easily accessible on the top side, protected by a lift-up cover. An additional lift-up compartment allows storage of the operation manual or other similar documents. The removable ventilation grille makes it easy to clean the condenser; the drain cock is also located behind it. All models also have an easily readable fill level indicator. An additional advantage is the absence of side ventilation: the devices can therefore be placed directly next to other machinery (space-saving).

Top Line cooling recirculators for economical and environmentally friendly refrigeration. These models perform automatic self-diagnosis upon activation, monitoring of sensor operation, pump and compressor protection, and shutdown on all poles in case of alarm. PURA water baths are synonymous with easy and safe work in the laboratory. These high-quality solutions offer a temperature stability of ±0.15 °C. The working temperature range of +18 °C to 99.9 °C allows for numerous possibilities of use, such as routine laboratory work, temperature regulation of test tubes, incubation, material and corrosion analysis, temperature control of food and consumer goods, and in the dental field.

A JULABO stirred water bath ensures operator convenience with its splash-proof keypad and clear MULTI-DISPLAY (LED) where up to four different values are indicated. State-of-the-art microprocessor technology with PID temperature control ensures optimal stability inside the tank. The alarm function for lower and higher temperature protects samples in the bath.

Low liquid level triggers a complete shutdown of the unit. JULABO stirred water baths are suitable for continuous operation without operator supervision. The tank and all parts in contact with the liquid are made of high-quality stainless steel.
